Summer Instagram Photo Contest

The Arts Council of Greater Weston invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to participate in this year’s Summer Instagram Photo Contest, The Magic of Contrast.

Contrast is all around us—in light and shadow, old and new, motion and stillness, bold colors and subtle tones. Through your lens, explore how differences create beauty, emotion, and visual impact. We’re looking for compelling images that tell stories through contrast and reveal unique perspectives on the world around us.

The contest runs June 15 through July 31 and offers participants the opportunity to have their work featured in a public exhibition, with cash prizes awarded to selected winners.

After registering at  1Weston.com⁠, participants may submit their entries by posting one photograph per day on their own Instagram account, tagging @1westonfl and using the hashtag #summerphotocontest2026. To be eligible, participants’ Instagram accounts must be set to public for the duration of the contest so entries can be viewed and judged.

Entries will be evaluated by a selected panel of jurors, who will review submissions for creativity, originality, technical quality, and interpretation of the theme.

Whether you are a seasoned photographer or simply enjoy capturing moments with your phone, we encourage you to share your creativity and join the celebration of photographic art.
